EMERGENCY SHUT-OFF TOOL FOR GAS AND WATER

This is s copy of a page from Amazon showing a gas and water shut-off tool that can be used on a gas and water meter at a residence. I would look it up on Amazon by search for “GAS AND WATER SHUT-OFF TOOL”. There are other shut off tools of varying costs and quality. I believe emergency services recommends this tool for residents.

This tool can be stored in the gas/water box where the meter is located and can be used for either gas or water meters. It is recommended to determine if the tool will fit in the boxes and easily fit the shutoff valve handle.
